The setting here is a stage with band equipment this shows us the main characters lifestyle, we see old style band equipment from the 80's this signifies the time period as the equipment is old. The use of the poster in the background signifies that the main character is in high school, it also signifies that the main character is a rocker and that he enjoys music. The use of the scene being set on a stage also shows that the character is confident.
The use of hair costume and makeup here is used very well to represent the characters personality. She is clothed in a tight black top with a leather jacket over the top and a pair of flexible black pants, the use of an all black outfit signifies that she is strong. Black also connotes mystery and danger further suggesting that she is a dangerous character. Her wearing pants and not what women would stereotypically wear signifies that she is a strong female and different to other women in the media. Her flexible outfit also shows us that she is involved in action again signifying her strength. She has minimal makeup on showing the spectator that she is a confident character and is self confident.
